SPA THERAPIST / MASSAGE THERAPIST

THE ROLE

As a Spa & Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering professional, personalised spa treatments while ensuring the highest standards of guest care, hygiene, safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of therapeutic and relaxation massages according to established spa treatment protocols.

Conduct professional guest consultations, identifying individual treatment preferences, requirements and contraindications.

Deliver body treatments, exfoliation rituals, wraps and facial treatments according to your professional training.

Provide personalised recommendations for treatments, wellness programmes and suitable retail products.

Ensure treatment rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and readiness.

Maintain professional guest relationships, respecting confidentiality, cultural sensitivities and individual preferences.

Support spa retail sales, treatment recommendations and operational targets.

Work collaboratively with the Spa Manager and wellness team to ensure consistently high service standards.

Candidates should have strong practical knowledge of several of the following treatments:

Swedish Massage

Deep Tissue Massage

Balinese Massage

Aromatherapy Massage

Hot Stone Massage

Thai Massage

Reflexology

Sports Massage

Spa & Wellness Treatments

Body Scrubs and Exfoliation

Body Wraps and Wellness Rituals

Facial Treatments and Skincare

Head, Neck and Shoulder Treatments

Foot Massage and Relaxation Treatments

Knowledge of Spa Products and Treatment Protocols

Additional specialised therapies and wellness certifications will be considered an advantage.

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in spa or massage therapy preferred.

Recognised diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy or a related field.

Previous experience in luxury hotels, international resorts, destination spas or reputable wellness establishments is highly desirable.

Excellent hands-on treatment skills, professional technique and knowledge of massage contraindications.

Good command of spoken English and the ability to communicate confidently with international guests.

Well-groomed, professional and attentive to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and wellness.

Comfortable working in a multicultural team and remote island resort environment.

Flexible, reliable and committed to maintaining high treatment and service standards.
