General Manager
About the role
Atoll Career, powered by ProHire Network, is inviting applications from accomplished General Managers / Resort General Managers for current and upcoming executive leadership opportunities with luxury and ultra-luxury resorts in the Maldives.
We are looking to connect with proven hospitality leaders who have successfully managed complex luxury resort operations, delivered exceptional guest experiences, developed high-performing multicultural teams, and driven strong commercial results.
Requirements
- Currently working, or recently worked, as a General Manager / Resort General Manager within a luxury hospitality environment
- Strong background with internationally recognised 5-star luxury or ultra-luxury hotel & resort brands
- Significant senior leadership experience within luxury resorts
- Maldives experience highly preferred, although exceptional candidates with Indian Ocean, Caribbean, Middle East or Southeast Asian luxury resort experience are also encouraged to apply
- Previous remote island / destination resort experience would be a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of luxury guest experience and international service standards
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse and multicultural teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L and revenue performance
- Strong knowledge of resort operations across Rooms, F&B, Wellness, Engineering and Guest Experience
- Experience in pre-opening, repositioning, renovation or resort transformation would be advantageous
- Strong owner/stakeholder relationship management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent English; additional international languages would be an advantage
- Hands-on, highly visible leadership style with the ability to thrive in a remote luxury island environment
