About the role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Spa & Wellness to join a prestigious ultra-luxury resort in the Maldives. We are looking for a strong leader who can combine exceptional guest experiences with commercial performance, wellness expertise and people development.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hospitality Management
Minimum 5 years of international luxury hospitality experience in a similar/equivalent senior position
Previous remote island/resort experience is highly desirable
Proven experience overseeing the overall operations of a luxury Spa & Wellness department
Strong focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction
Strong experience leading, developing and motivating multicultural teams
Excellent knowledge of spa operations, treatments and wellness concepts
Knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda
Strong understanding of holistic wellness, nutrition, health and wellbeing
Up-to-date knowledge of international spa and wellness trends
Strong commercial and selling skills
Proven ability to drive spa revenue and profitability
Strong understanding of cost control and financial performance
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and spoken English
An additional European language would be an advantage
Ability to maintain the exceptional standards expected within an ultra-luxury resort environment
